Newcastle United’s Michael Owen will be looking to get his first goal against Liverpool for Newcastle after having an amazing record when playing for Liverpool against Newcastle in the Premier League
Owen scored 13 goals in nine matches against the Geordies during his Liverpool days including two hat tricks, one at Anfield and one at St James’s Park, scoring in seven of those nine appearances.
It is the most goals scored by Owne against any side in the Premier League one more than he has scored against West Ham United in 14 matches.
One team he has struggled to score against in the Premier League is Arsenal with three goals in 17 matches
Owen has played three times for Newcastle against Liverpool and has yet to find the net.
