Pens: A Di Bernardo 2 (30,44). Cons: A Di Bernardo 2 (1,36). Leeds Carnegie were given a run for their money at the Cornish Pirates bit came through to take the win but not the bonus point. They made a great start and were ahead inside 20 seconds when lock Kearnan Myall went over and Alberto Di Bernardo converted. They went 12-0 ahead on eight minutes when right wing Richard Welding went over. Pirates fly half Rhys Jones then put over four penalties to level the scores by the 25th minute. Di Bernardo then kicked the visitors back in front and late in the half winger Tom Biggs touched down and they were 33-12 ahead. Jones added a fifth penalty goal on 40 minutes to go in seven points down and still all to play for. Di Bernardo made it a 10 point lead four minutes into the half but on the hour hooker Darren Dawiduik went over to make it a five point game with 20 minutes to play. The only score came on 74 minutes when Rhys put over a sixth penalty goal to make it a nervous last few minutes for the visitors. . Nottingham 33-13 Rotherham Nottingham Points: Try: A Savage (50), J Cobden (76), J Duffy (47), T Taylor (72). Pens: T Taylor 3 (16,21,42). Cons: T Taylor 2 (72,76). Rotherham Points: Try: J Feeley (67). Pens: T Barlow 2 (40,45). Cons: T Barlow (67). Nottingham returned to winning ways with this home win over Rotherham Titans and they took a try bonus point as well. Tim Taylor kicked the home side into a 6-0 lead with two penalty goals in the opening 21 minutes. Late in the half Tom Barlow put over a penalty for the Titans. Taylor and Barlow exchanged penalty goals in the opening five minutes of the second half before the home side finally got the games first try. It came on 47 minutes when hooker Joe Duffy touched down and five minutes later winger Andrew Savage got the second and they were 19-6 ahead. The Titans were back in it on 67 minutes when wing Jon Feeley went over and Barlow converted for 19-13. The home side came back with two tries in four minutes to move well ahead and take all five points on offer as Taylor and the other wing Jack Cobden touched down and this time Taylor added the conversions.
Moseley 12-19 Doncaster
Moseley Points: Pens: O Thomas 4 (6, 17, 43, 65).
Doncaster Points: Try: D Griffiths (35), D van Vuuren (44), J Albinson (79). Cons: J Lennard 2 (35,79).
Doncaster were away day winners at Moseley after a late converted try to take the points. Full back Ollie Thomas gave the home side the lead with a 6th minute penalty goal and he made it 6-0 with a second on 17 minutes. The visitors were off the mark on 35 minutes when second row David Griffiths touched down and Jamie Lennard converted to go in 7-6 ahead at half time.
Thomas gave the home side the lead again in the 3rd minute of the second half but the lead lasted a minute before winger Donovan Van Vuuren went over for Doncaster and it was 12-9. In the 65th minute Thomas levelled the scorers with his 4th penalty goal.
That was the way it stayed till scrum half Jamie Albinson got the winning score in the last minute of normal time for the Knights.
Coventry 48-3 Otley

Coventry were comfortable winners over struggling Otley running in seven unanswered tries after falling behind to an 11th minute Tom Whittaker penalty goal.
They got two before half time with flanker Jamie Miller and No 8 Greg Thomas going over the Otley try line.
Of the seven tries five of them came from their forwards.
Five more followed in the second half including a double for winger Ollie Winter.
The visitors did not help their cause with three players spending time in the sin bin.
Bedford 37-9 Plymouth Albion

Bedford Blues remain fifth after this home win over Plymouth Albion taking all five points and stopping the visitors crossing their try line.
It was Albion who went ahead when Kieran Hallett put over a ninth minute penalty goal. Will Twelvetrees levelled for the home side three minutes later. Hallett put Albion back in front on 22 minutes but a try in injury time from full back Will Harries saw the home side go in 8-6 ahead.
Six minutes into the 2nd half and Albion were back in front as Ross Laidlaw put over a penalty goal after replacing Hallett at half time.
The lead lasted seven minutes before hooker Dan Richmond was over the Albion line and it was 13-9. Two more tries followed quickly as the Blues took the try bonus point as centre Liam Roberts and back row forward Gregor Gillanders touched down and they were 25-9 ahead. They ran in two more tries in the final quarter to run out comfortable winners.
Sedgley Park 27-26 Esher

Esher Points: Try: D Flockhart (24), J Waterhouse (66), N Hallett (21), T Clouston (37). Cons: N Hallett 3 (22, 25, 38).
After a run of nine defeats Sedgley Park returned to winning ways with this narrow home win over Esher and took a try bonus point as well, Esher were left with two bonus points.
Esher were first on the scoreboard with full back Neil Hallett touching down and converting on 21 minutes, three minutes later he was converting a second try as right wing Doug Flockhart touched down and they were 14-0 ahead.
Centre Josh Weedon replied two minutes later for Park but late in the half centre Toby Clouston got the third try and Hallett converted for a 21-5 lead at half time.
Park got back in the game with tries from replacement back Chris hall and flanker Adam Newton to make it 21-15 on the hour.
Flanker James Waterhouse got the fourth Esher try as they took the try bonus point.
In the last ten minutes Park ran in two tries to snatch a win as wing Paul Wilcock and full back Matt Riley touched down and Riley added a conversion for a one point win.
Manchester 14-19 London Welsh
Manchester Points: Try: G Wynne 2 (24, 30). Cons: G Wynne 2 (25, 31).
London Welsh Points: Try: P Sampson (5), T Brown (13). Pens: M Harris 3 (51, 59, 62).
Manchester gave London Welsh a run for their money and had to settle for a losing bonus pointing the end.
Two tries in the opening 13 minutes gave the visitors a 10-0 lead as right wing Paul Sampson and no 8 Tom Brown touched down for unconverted tries.
The home side were off the mark on 24 minutes when right wing Gareth Wynne went over and converted for 10-7. Six minutes later Wynne was over for a second try and added the conversion for a 14-10 lead which was the score at half time.
In the second half Mark Harris kicked the Welsh to victory with three penalty goals in an 11 minutes spell between 51 and 62 minutes.
Newbury 20-37 Exeter

The Exeter Chiefs were away day winners at Newbury out scoring the home side six tries to two.
The damage was done in the first half as they built up a 22-0 lead running in three tries after Danny Gray kicked a penalty in the opening minute. Tries followed from centre Paul McKenzie, prop Chris Budgen and full back Sean Marsden and Gray added a couple of conversions.
With the match all but won the home side actually won the second half 20-15, although the Chiefs did out score them three tries to two.
For the home side scrum half Waylon Gasson and full back Jon Hylton got tries and Ben Stevenson kicked 10 points. For the visitors wing Matt Jess was again on the scoresheet with his 9th try of the season and is now the joint leading try scorer at the club with the other Chiefs winger Josh Drauniniu.
