Stourbridge 51-20 Waterloo

Stourbridge close to within a point of eighth placed Cinderford after taking all five points in this home win over bottom of the table Waterloo, out scoring them eight tries to two.
It took the home side seven minutes to get on the scoreboard with left wing Martin Freeman going over for the games opening try.
Four minutes later and Waterloo were off the mark as fly half Frank Lynch put over a penalty goal. Ali Bressington replied for the home side before two tries in four minutes saw them move 20-3 ahead after 22 minutes as the second row pair of Ben Hughes and Ben Griffiths touching down.
Waterloo responded soon after with winger Neil Kerfoot getting his 6th try of the season and Lynch converted and put over a second penalty goal to make it 20-13 after 32 minutes.
Stourbridge finished the match strongly with tries from Freeman and prop Adam Sturdy, Bressington added a conversion and they went in 32-13 ahead with the try bonus point in the bag.
In the third quarter Hughes and Sturdy both completed double as the home side piled on the agony for the visitors. Both sides scored late in the game but the home side took the win and five points.
Mounts Bay 40-15 Southend

The Mounts Bay revival continues with a fourth consecutive win but despite scoring 40 points they missed the try bonus point with just three tries.
It was Southend who led at the break 15-12 after a brace of tries from hooker Adam Ferrier, Simon Hoult converted on of them and slotted a penalty goal. The home side were kept in the game with Dan Hawkes kicking four penalty goals for Bay.
Two more Hawkes penalty goals in the third quarter saw the home side 18-15 ahead.
The match was settled with the award of two penalty tries of the home side on 63 and 75 minutes, Hawkes converted them both and added a seventh penalty goal.
They did manage to cross the Southend line when No 8 Nick Burnett went over on 80 minutes.
Blaydon 35-22 Westcombe Park

Blaydon were home winners over Westcombe Park taking all five points and they close to within a point of their North East rivals Tynedale.
It was Combe who took the lead when influential No 8 Tom Hayman went over for a 3rd minute try and San Naden converted for 7-0.
Andrew Fenby, known for his try scoring, took the kicking duties and put the home side on the scoreboard with a 9th minute penalty goal and 14 minutes later was converting a try from flanker Will Welch as they went 10-7 ahead.
Soon after Fenby got his regulation try and converted it to move the home side 17-7 ahead. Flanker Doug Abbot got a second Combe try and they went in just five points down.
Eight minutes into the second half and it was all square as scrum half Luke Baldwin went in for an unconverted try.
Richard Windle on as a replacement then kicked the home side back in front with a penalty goal, but a second Baldwin try and Combe were 22-20 ahead on the hour mark and they had a try bonus point.
Three minutes later and Fenby completed a double to move into double figures for the season. Six minutes later they had some breathing space as full back Adam Dehatty went over and Windle converted before wrapping up the win with a late drop goal.
Wharfedale 13-22 Blackheath
Wharfedale Points: Try: M Bedworth (43). Pens: M Bedworth 2 (31,40). Cons: M Bedworth (44).
Blackheath Points: Try: L Wordley (17), M Leek (32). Pens: M Leek (63). Penalty Try: (20). Cons: M Leek 2 (21,33).
Blackheath are up into seventh place after another away win as Wharfedale go down to their seventh defeat of the season.
Hooker Liam Wordley gave the visitors the lead when he went over on 17 minutes for an unconverted try.
Three minutes later and Blackheath picked up a penalty try and Matt Leek converted for a 12-0 lead.
Mark Bedworth pulled three points back for the home side on 31 minutes but a minute later and the visitors had a third try as fly half Matt Leek touched down and he converted for a 19-3 lead. Late in the half Bedworth narrow the gap by three points with his second penalty goal to reach 100 points for the season to send his side in 13 points down.
Three minutes into the second half and Bedworth was over for a try which he converted to make it a six point game.
Matt Leek put the visitors nine point clear with a 63rd minute penalty goal which proved to be the final score of the match.
Cambridge 21-23 Launceston
Cambridge Points: Try: C Lombaard 2 (31,47), J Hinkins (35). Pens: B Patston 2 (67,76).
Launceston Points: Try: B Turner (64), M Dibble (56), M Roberts (80). Pens: A Staniforth (70), J Fabian (29). Cons: A Staniforth (80).
Cambridge poor recent run continued as they were beaten at home by Launceston who move above the in the league table by a point.
It took 29 minutes for the first score as Jon Fabian put over a penalty for the All Blacks.
The lead lasted two minutes with Cambridge wing Christoff Lombaard touching down and four minutes later they went in for a second as right wing James Hinkins went over and they were 10-3 ahead which was the way it stayed till half time.
Seven minutes into the second half and Lombaard completed a double and the home side seemed to be moving into a winning lead at 15-3, as it again went unconverted.
Back came the visitors though with tries form wing Marc Dibble and scrum half Ben Turner to get back to 15-13.
Ben Patston then put over a penalty for the home side to move them 18-13 ahead on 67 minutes, but Adam Staniforth replied for the visitors to make it 18-16. Patston increased the home lead to five points with a second penalty on 76 minutes. .
But in injury time the visitors snatched the win as centre Mal Roberts went over and with the scores level Staniforth converted for the win.
Redruth 15-5 Tynedale
Redruth Points: Try: M Bright (79), P Thirby (35). Pens: M Scrivener (33). Cons: M Scrivener (35).
Tynedale Points: Try: A Murray (41).
Redruth were made to work for their 11th straight win by Tynedale and did not wrap up the win till the 79th minute with the visitors down to 14 men at the time.
It took 33 minutes for the games opening score with home fly half Mark Scrivener putting over a penalty goal. Two minutes later they were over for the games opening try as Paul Thirlby playing in the centre with Scrivener back at fly half went over and Scrivener converted to lead 10-0 at half time with Tynedale down to 14 men at the time.
In the opening minute of the second half No 8 Ali Murray went over the home line to get them on the scoreboard. It remained a five point game right till the end when the home side wrapped up the win. .
Birmingham Solihull 53-3 Cinderford

Birmingham Solihull closed the gap on leaders Redruth to seven points after taking all five points in this comfortable home win over Cinderford with winger Simon Hunt leading the way with a hat trick of tries to move onto 14 for the season, three clear of Redruth’s Rob Thirlby.
It was Cinderford who went ahead when Frankie Burns put over an early penalty goal on two minutes, the lead lasted seven minutes with Mark Woodrow replying for the home side. Seven minutes later and Hunt was over for the games opening try and an 8-3 lead. 10 minutes later and flanker Rob Connolly went over and a 13-3 lead. Just before half time, Hunt completed a double to send the home side in 18-3 ahead.
Two more tries in the opening 10 minutes of the second half saw them move well clear as hooker Ben Phillips and Woodrow touched down and with Woodrow converting them both they were 32-3 ahead and the try bonus point was secured.
Further tries followed including a hat trick try for Hunt as the home side passed the 50 point mark.
